How we price

whatitcosts.sg tells you what things cost in Singapore and who provides them. Every price on this site has a source and the date we checked it.

Three steps, every price.

  1. We collect published prices and quotes
  2. We check each price on the provider's own page
  3. We show the date we checked it

Where our prices come from

  • Price lists that providers publish on their own websites.
  • Written quotes, where a provider gives one to the public.
  • Government and regulator sources, such as MOH fee benchmarks and MOM guidance.

A range on this site is the spread we found across those sources, not a quote. Your price depends on your case, so always confirm with the provider.

How we check

We only publish a price we can link to: the provider's own price list, a written public quote or a government benchmark. Each price shows where it came from and the date we checked it. When we recheck a guide, we update that date.

What we do not do

  • We do not rank medical or legal providers. They are listed A to Z with facts only.
  • We do not write or publish reviews, and we do not invent ratings. Where we show a Google rating, we say when we checked it.
  • We do not accept payment to change a price or a listing.
