Subsidised Cervarix (HPV2) is capped at S$23 to S$45 per dose for eligible Singaporean women aged 18 to 26 at CHAS GP clinics, while Gardasil 9 (HPV9) costs about S$250 to S$330 per dose at private clinics, or roughly S$700 to S$990 for a three-dose course.

How much does the HPV vaccine cost in Singapore?

It depends on the vaccine and whether you qualify for a subsidy. Subsidised Cervarix costs at most S$23 or S$45 per dose, unsubsidised Cervarix is about S$96 per dose, and Gardasil 9 at private clinics runs from about S$250 to S$330 per dose.

The figures below were checked on 6 October 2026. Subsidy caps come from the government's published CHAS rules, and the Gardasil 9 range comes from private clinic price lists published online. Clinics differ on whether a quoted price includes GST and a consultation fee, so always ask.

Course totals for Cervarix are simple multiples of the per-dose cap and do not include any consultation fee a clinic may charge. As an example of private pricing, Mediway Medical lists Gardasil 9 at S$330 per dose, with a S$900 three-dose bundle for ages 15 to 45, a S$620 two-dose bundle for ages 9 to 14, and a S$38 consultation on the first visit.

What changes on 1 January 2027?

On 2 October 2026, MOH announced that Gardasil 9 will join the national schedules from 1 January 2027. Eligible Singaporean children will get it fully subsidised, and eligible Singaporean adults will get means-tested subsidies of up to 75% at CHAS GP clinics and polyclinics.

MediSave will also be usable for Gardasil 9 from that date, up to the MediSave Chronic and Preventive Care limits of S$700 or S$1,000. Until then, government subsidies and MediSave are not available for Gardasil 9, so anyone vaccinated with it in 2026 pays the full private clinic price.

MOH has not yet published the 2027 fees in dollars. We will update this page when it does, rather than guess what the subsidised price will be.

How many doses do you need?

Two or three, depending on your age at the first dose. People who start between the ages of 9 and 14 need two doses, and people who start between 15 and 26 need three. This is the biggest single factor in what a full course costs.

Because private clinics charge per dose, a two-dose course of Gardasil 9 costs noticeably less than a three-dose course. Some clinics sell separate two-dose and three-dose bundles that work out lower than paying dose by dose, so ask whether a bundle is available and what happens if you miss a dose.

What changes the price of the HPV vaccine?

Four things drive the price: which vaccine you choose, how many doses you need, whether you qualify for a subsidy, and what the clinic charges in addition to the vaccine itself, such as consultation fees and GST.

  • Vaccine type. Cervarix (HPV2) is the vaccine covered by the current CHAS subsidy for women aged 18 to 26. Gardasil 9 (HPV9) covers more HPV types and costs more. HPV4 is no longer available in Singapore.
  • Number of doses. Two doses for those starting at 9 to 14, three for those starting at 15 to 26.
  • Subsidy and CHAS tier. CHAS Orange and Blue holders pay a lower Cervarix cap than CHAS Green or non-CHAS patients.
  • Consultation fee. Some clinics charge a consultation on the first visit as well as the vaccine.
  • Bundles. Paying for the full course upfront can lower the per-dose cost at some clinics.
  • GST. Check whether the quoted price already includes GST.

Can you use MediSave or subsidies for the HPV vaccine?

In 2026, only Cervarix is subsidised, for eligible Singaporean women aged 18 to 26 at CHAS GP clinics. Gardasil 9 gets no subsidy and no MediSave until 1 January 2027, when subsidies and MediSave use (within the S$700 or S$1,000 limits) begin.

Boys and men can be vaccinated, but this is not currently subsidised. If you have private health insurance or a corporate medical benefit, check your policy directly, as cover for vaccinations varies.

Should you wait for the 2027 subsidy?

That is a decision to make with a doctor. Waiting a few months could cut the cost sharply for eligible Singaporeans, but the right timing depends on your age, how many doses you would need and your personal circumstances.

Age matters because the dose count rises from two to three once you start at 15 or older. If you are close to that cut-off, or close to the upper age limits for subsidy schemes, ask a doctor how timing affects both the number of doses and the price. If you have already started a course, ask whether the remaining doses could be covered from 2027.

How do you choose a clinic for HPV vaccination?

Check four things before booking: that the clinic has the vaccine you want in stock, the full course price including consultation and GST, whether it is a CHAS GP clinic if you want a subsidy, and that the doctor is registered with the Singapore Medical Council.

  • Stock. Call ahead. Supply can vary, and you want all doses from the same clinic if possible.
  • Full course price. Ask for the total for two or three doses, not just the first.
  • CHAS status. Subsidies, now for Cervarix and from 2027 for Gardasil 9, apply at CHAS GP clinics and polyclinics.
  • Doctor registration. You can check any doctor on the SMC's public register.
  • Scheduling. Ask how the clinic reminds you about later doses.

Can I use MediSave for the HPV vaccine?

Not for Gardasil 9 in 2026. From 1 January 2027, MediSave can be used for Gardasil 9 up to the MediSave Chronic and Preventive Care limits of S$700 or S$1,000.

Is the HPV vaccine free in Singapore?

Yes, boys and men can be vaccinated at clinics that offer it, but this is not currently subsidised, so they pay the private clinic price.

How many doses of the HPV vaccine do I need?

Two doses if you start between the ages of 9 and 14, and three doses if you start between 15 and 26.
