In Singapore, kids' swimming lessons typically cost S$25 to S$71 per group lesson (2026), or about S$100 to S$285 for four weekly lessons. Private one-to-one lessons cost about S$70 to S$175 each. Public-pool classes sit at the lower end, while swim school pools and weekend slots cost more. Prices checked 10 Oct 2026.
How much do kids' swimming lessons cost in Singapore?
Group lessons cost S$25 to S$71 per lesson, based on the published fees of the eight swim schools we checked on 10 Oct 2026. Private one-to-one lessons cost S$70 to S$174.40 per lesson, depending on the school, the pool and the lesson length.
Most schools charge by the month or by a block of four lessons, so the table converts each published fee to a per-lesson figure. Happy Fish sells packs of five lessons, so its four-lesson figure is an equivalent, not a published price.
| Lesson type | Per lesson | Four lessons | Based on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Group class, public pool | S$25 to S$32.50 | S$100 to S$130 | Swim Masters, Isplash and Oyougu published fees |
| Group class, swim school or premium pool | S$32.70 to S$70.85 | About S$131 to S$283 | Happy Fish and aquaDucks published fees (incl. GST) |
| Small group of three or more | From S$35 per child | From S$140 per child | Swim2u published fees |
| Private one-to-one | S$70 to S$174.40 | S$280 to S$697.60 | Swim2u, Happy Fish and aquaDucks published fees |
Two swim schools publish their own cost guides, which line up broadly with these figures. aquaDucks puts group lessons at S$25 to S$50, semi-private at S$40 to S$70 and private at S$60 to S$120 per lesson. Swim Masters gives S$25 to S$45 for public-pool group classes and S$75 to S$110 for private lessons. Both are written by lesson providers, so treat them as rough guides.
What do Singapore swim schools charge for kids' lessons?
Published group fees run from S$100 every four weeks at Swim Masters to S$70.85 per lesson for Happy Fish's HOME pools. Several schools publish private rates too, while others list group fees only. All figures below were checked on 10 Oct 2026.

What changes the price of kids' swimming lessons?
Four things move the price most: the pool, the class size, the day and the lesson length. Public-pool group classes cost least, while swim school pools, weekend slots, longer lessons and one-to-one coaching all push the per-lesson price up.
The pool. Coaches who teach at public ActiveSG pools, such as Isplash and Oyougu, publish S$120 to S$130 for four lessons, and Swim Masters charges S$100 every four weeks. Happy Fish, which teaches in indoor heated pools, publishes S$32.70 to S$70.85 per lesson, and aquaDucks S$40.06 to S$57.23.
The day. Weekend slots can cost noticeably more. At aquaDucks' Queenstown and Upper Bukit Timah pools, a lesson is S$40.06 on a weekday and S$51.50 at the weekend. At Mountbatten and West Coast it is S$41.20 against S$57.23.
Class size. Swim2u charges S$140 per child for four lessons in a group of three or more, and S$280 for one-to-one coaching, so a private lesson costs twice as much. Isplash caps its group classes at 8 children.
Lesson length. aquaDucks' one-to-one lessons cost S$87.20 for 30 minutes, S$130.80 for 45 minutes and S$174.40 for 60 minutes. Most group classes we checked run for about 45 minutes.
The coach. Singapore Swimming Academy lists higher package prices when you ask for a lady coach, for example S$460 rather than S$410 for a one-to-two package.
What extra fees should parents budget for?
Budget for joining fees, deposits, trials and pool entry. Some schools charge nothing beyond the lesson fee, while others add a registration fee, an equipment fee or a deposit, and public pools charge a small entry fee in addition to the lesson.
Joining fees and deposits. Marsden Swim School charges a one-time, non-refundable S$54 enrolment fee. Swim Masters Singapore charges a one-time S$155 when you join: S$55 for equipment and a S$100 deposit. Isplash says it has no deposit or registration fee, and Oyougu Aquatics says it has no registration fee.
Pool entry. At public pools, entry is usually paid separately. Marsden's page for Delta Swimming Complex gives ActiveSG entry as S$0.50 per child and S$1 per adult, and Swim Masters' cost guide puts pool entry at S$0.50 to S$2. Check the current rate at your pool with ActiveSG.
Trials. aquaDucks charges S$43.60 for a trial and Happy Fish S$50. Marsden's trial is paid, but the fee is waived if you enrol.
SwimSafer. Several schools teach the SwimSafer syllabus, but we could not find an official assessment fee to quote, so ask your school whether testing is included in the lesson fee.
Which swim schools are listed on this page?
We list eight Singapore swim schools that publish kids' lesson fees on their own websites, A to Z. Each entry gives the published price, what is included and the extra fees we found, all checked on 10 Oct 2026.

How can you keep swimming lesson costs down?
Choose a group class at a public pool, look for schools without joining fees, and ask about sibling discounts and make-up lessons so missed classes are not wasted. At schools that price by day, weekday slots also cost less than weekends.
aquaDucks offers a sibling discount from the third child. Isplash offers make-up lessons for valid reasons, Oyougu gives make-up credits and Swim Masters also offers make-up lessons. If you live in a condo, Swim2u and Isplash both coach at condo pools, and grouping three or more children brings Swim2u's price down to S$140 per child for four lessons.
Compare like with like: some schools bill monthly, some every four weeks and some in packs of five. Work out the per-lesson price, then add any joining fee spread over the months you expect to stay.
